Fire Heavily Damages Home

  A home in the Broadmoor subdivision just off of Cleveland Road was heavily damaged in a fire this afternoon (Wednesday).

Firefighters from the Cleveland, Clayton, 50-210 and Wilson’s Mills Fire Departments were called to the blaze on Skye Circle.

Flames were seen shooting from holes burned in the roof of the two-story home.  The family of four and their pets escaped injury.

The Johnston County Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
