Fire Heavily Damages Home

Firefighters from Johnston and Wake Counties responded to a house fire in the 300 block of Pecan Lane, off Cornwallis Road, Tuesday morning. 

The 911 call reporting the fire came in just before 9:00am. 

Crews from the Clayton, Cleveland, Garner and Wilson’s Mills Fire Departments arrived to find flames coming from the home.  Firemen made an aggressive attack and quickly brought the fire under control.

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and Johnston County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the scene.
