Flames Destroy Doublewide Mobile Home

FOUR OAKS – Flames destroyed a doublewide mobile home Monday morning.  The fire was reported at 10:55am in the 300 block of Heath Road, off NC Highway 96 South.

Firefighters from Four Oaks, Smithfield and Strickland’s Crossroads arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the home.

The heaviest fire damage appeared to be in the back right corner of the home. 

The Johnston County Fire Marshal’s Office responded and is investigating the cause.

The home was a total loss.
