SMITHFIELD – Police are searching for a suspect who exposed himself to at least two women inside a Smithfield business.
The incident happened July 14 around 2:45pm at Dollar Tree, located at 106 N. Brightleaf Boulevard.
According to Smithfield Police, an unknown black male, approximately 20 years of age, walked up to two separate women who were shopping.
The suspect approached each victim and said, “Hey.” When they turned to look, he removed an item he was holding in front of his genitals and exposed his penis.
He did not attempt to touch either female victim. The victims reported the incident to store employees.
The suspect ran out the front door.
At last report, police had not identified the suspect.
