Food Hall To Celebrate First Anniversary

Three days of events and giveaways planned

SELMA – Old North State Food Hall (ONSFH) will celebrate its one-year business anniversary with events and giveaways August 25 through August 27.

Events include:

Friday, August 25

7:30 pm – American Portraits: A Musical Journey Through America Featuring Jonathan Levin and Tyrone Chambers  

International performing artists Tyrone Chambers and Jonathan Levin form a unique duo team as multi-genre vocalist and concert pianist/composer, respectively. Don’t miss this fun event which tells a story through selections inspired by folk songs, spirituals, poetry, classic American musical theatre, jazz influences, and more. The music touches on areas of national pride, racial struggles, and conflicts of war and reconciliation, all with an overarching theme of peace and unity, including timeless classics and favorites, as well as original works and arrangements conceived especially for their shows. This ticketed concert event takes place in the Longleaf Tavern. Tickets ($25/advance; $30/door) may be purchased online at claytonpianofestival.org.

Saturday, August 26

12 to 6 pm – Small Batch Craft Market

Shop from 15 local makers and creators at this pop-up craft market.

6 to 9 pm – Aesthetic Creations Car Show

Aesthetic Creations, in collaboration with local influencer That Car Meet Guy and the Honda Society Car Club, is hosting Stay Tuned, a car show featuring vehicles of various makes and models.

7 to 9 pm – Sing and Celebrate at Birthday Karaoke with DJ David Price

Sunday, August 27

12 to 3 pm – Touch-a-Truck (2:30 to 3 pm – Quiet Time; no horns, sirens or flashing lights)

Explore fire trucks, emergency vehicles, construction equipment and more at this family friendly event. A portion of food sales from the day will support Backpack Buddies.

ONSFH guests will have the opportunity to spin a prize wheel for discounts and prizes throughout the weekend.

ONSFH General Manager Todd Pifer said, “We’re excited to reach this milestone and appreciate the enthusiasm and support we’ve felt from the entire community during the past year. We hope everyone will stop by throughout the weekend and enjoy all the festivities taking place at ONSFH.”

Current eateries in the 15,000 square foot food hall include Aroma de Cuba, Barley & Burger Smashed, Chios Rotisserie, Curry in a Hurry, Hot Dog Bar, JoCo Coffee Co., Levy’s Jerkstand, Luna Pizza Cafe, The Ice Storm, and Longleaf Tavern.

ONSFH is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 7 am to 9 pm. Online ordering is available at www.onsfh.com.
