The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Member Appreciation Dinner on February 27, 2018.

Participants were treated to dinner provided by White Swan Bar-B-Que and Fried Chicken as well as an opportunity to network with their fellow business community.  About 100 participants came out representing businesses and organizations from the Four Oaks area and throughout the County.  The program was themed Passion to Action.  The Chamber team was introduced, including Board members and the new Executive Director, Amber England.

Mrs. England presented the 2018 Program Calendar and encouraged members to utilize the Chamber programs and resources stating,

“Picasso reminded us that “action is the foundational key to success.  Our 2018 program calendar is an offering, built on your goals, but must be carried out by your hands.  We have had so many of our businesses see these opportunities and jump into action.  Utilizing our resources in hiring, keeping us informed of promotional opportunities, sponsoring an event that aligns with their goals.  We are eager to see you utilize your investment in this Chamber to its maximum potential and have created programming to help you do that,” England said.

The event was also a time for recognitions.  The Chamber recognized Four Oaks Bank for their contributions as Title Sponsor for 2016 and 2017 as well as all they continue to do for the local business community.  The Town of Four Oaks recognized Walter Holt with the Governor’s highest honor, the Order of the Long Leaf Pine.  Mr. Holt’s family was present for this surprise recognition. Both recognitions are examples of leadership in action for the Four Oaks community.
