Four Oaks Chamber Recognizes Members At Annual Appreciation Dinner

The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Member Appreciation Dinner on January 17th at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.  Participants were treated to a catered meal as well as an opportunity to network with their fellow business community.  Many participants came out representing businesses and organizations from the Four Oaks area and throughout the County.  The program was themed Four Oaks Proud. The Chamber team was introduced, including Board members and the new Executive Director, Joan Pritchett.

The event was also a time for recognitions. The Chamber recognized United Community Bank for their contributions as Title Sponsor for 2018 as well as all they do for the local business community.

Jim Best, June Raynor and Carly Fogleman were recognized for their leadership on the Four Oaks Chamber Board having retired their positions in 2018.

A special ‘Four Oaks Proud’ recognition award went to Mrs. Jackie Parrish.  She is the oldest member and an original member of the chamber.  Jackie, a lifelong Four Oaks resident,  retired from Eaton Corporation after 33 years.  She is known for her passionate fundraising for the American Cancer Society.  She is also a 30-year Breast Cancer Survivor. Jackie is relentless in her support and dedication to the Four Oaks Fire Department, Four Oaks Rescue and Four Oaks Civitan organizations.
