The Girl Scout Cadettes of Troop No. 394 from Four Oaks showcased their dedication to service and their community by donating their time to the Angels on Missions soup kitchen and food pantry.

The girls spent the day packing food supplies consisting of fresh produce, grains, meats, dairy and water for members of the community and carried the boxes filled with food to the trucks to be transported.

After learning about the problem of homelessness and how they could help the less fortunate, the troop chose this project as a way to give back. At the end of the day, the girls felt extremely lucky and proud of all that they were able to accomplish for the soup kitchen and food pantry.
