A Four Oaks man was taken into custody Thursday afternoon, three days after he reportedly broke into a farmers hog house.
On Monday, Terry Barefoot reported he went to check on a hog house on US 701 South. When he arrived he saw a man running from the building.
Johnston County deputies responded to the scene and located the suspects moped hidden nearby.
The owner of the moped, 51 year-old Timothy Gerald Matthews Sr., of the 2400 block of Elevation Road, Four Oaks was arrested Thursday on a single felony count of breaking and entering. No items were reported missing.
