A Four Oaks man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for allegedly stealing items from Lowe’s Home Improvement.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office was called to Lowe’s near the I-40 / NC42 interchange in Cleveland after the suspect allegedly went into the business and fled out the door with two tool sets valued at $379 and $599.
The suspect, Timothy Michael Riser of Grady Street, Four Oaks reportedly jumped into a waiting vehicle as the driver sped away. Riser was later located and charged with felony larceny and felony conspiracy. He was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said an additional arrest is expected.
