Four Oaks Middle Art Teacher Named December Teacher Of The Month

The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce has named Christopher Hearn Teachers a master art teacher at Four Oaks Middle School as their December Teacher of the Month. Mr. Hearn was presented with a certificate of recognition as well as a bag of gifts from many of the Chamber member businesses.

Four Oaks Middle School shared as part of this nomination, “Mr. Hearn is a master art teacher giving students the encouragement they need to not only perform in the classroom but also at growing youth.  He eagerly works with students to ensure they understand the assignment, designs engaging assignments to peak student interest, and is a voice of reason when students are in need.  He is a model employee, assistant football coach, and leader in his profession.  He ensures his student’s artwork gets out to places in the community.  Mr. Hearn reaches beyond his assigned classroom to teach our Life Skills and Autistic students during his planning time.  He prepares specialized lessons to ensure the success of these students.  He is an asset to the school as well as the Four Oaks Community.”
