Johnston County Public Schools has been informed that it is included in the Presidential Disaster Declaration for Hurricane Florence. This will allow all students in the district to receive free breakfast and lunch, starting today (Monday, October 1st) and continuing through Wednesday, October 31.
The declaration does not cover employees; however, employees may continue to purchase meals at any time.
Highlights of the program:
- This free meal offer will begin on October 1 and run through October 31.
- It is available to all students, regardless of meal account status.
- The program covers breakfast and lunch. (“Quick Bites” a la carte items will still be available for purchase.)
