Here’s a story that really melts your heart. A real life Grinch is being sought after they allegedly stole a white male that goes by the name of Frosty the Snowman.
The person – who is likely on Santa’s Naughty List – stole the 9 foot tall inflatable snowman from the front yard of a home on Buffalo Road near River Dell Elementary School in the Archer Lodge community.
Frosty’s owner said he unplugged the inflatable Christmas character around 9:00pm Wednesday. When he returned home from work around 5:30pm Thursday and got ready to plug Frosty back in, he noticed the missing snowman.
Deputies searched the area making sure Frosty hadn’t blown away. Officers said there were signs where pegs that held Frosty to the ground had been intentionally removed and left behind in the front yard.
Johnston County deputies hope the crook who stole Frosty has a heart and will return him even if it takes some magic from Professor Hinkle.
