The NC Highway Patrol has released information on funeral arrangements for State Trooper Nolan J. Sanders who died in a traffic accident Friday night near Pikeville in Wayne County.
Due to the current COVID-19 health concerns and in compliance with Executive Order 121, no public memorial service will be held.
A private graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March, 31st at 11 am at Wayne Memorial Park in Mount Olive. This 
service will be for the family of Trooper Sanders and members assigned to Troop C, District 2 (Wayne County).
A public memorial ceremony will be planned for a later date.
For the public wishing to view the memorial ceremony of Trooper Nolan Sanders, the Patrol will live stream the graveside ceremony via the Patrol’s Facebook page found at the following link: https://www.facebook.com/NCHighwayPatrol/
