Garner Police Swear In Three New Officers

The Garner Police Department swore in three new officers during a ceremony at its headquarters on Aug. 11.

Antonio Gonzalez, who holds an associate’s degree and basic law enforcement training certificate from Sampson Community College, joined the department on July 31.

Bobby Wilder also joined the force on July 31. He previously served with the Durham Police Department for a year and a half. Wilder earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Fayetteville State University.

Ethan Ramsey joined the department on Aug. 7. He had previously served with the Rocky Mount Police Department since April 2015. Ramsey holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Florida Gulf Coast University.
