We have an update to a story we brought you last Thursday.
The Garner Police Department and Animal Control have captured an aggressive gray fox spotted last week in the vicinity of New Rand Road. A resident on the 200 block of New Rand was bitten by a fox July 11th.
Over the weekend, Garner Animal Control trapped a fox believed to have bitten the resident. The animal tested positive for rabies.
Garner Police and Animal Control remind residents to call 911 if they see or encounter an animal acting strangely or aggressively.
