Garner Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday afternoon at Tienda Hispana El Triunfo, located at 103 Vandora Springs Road. The suspect, a black male, 18-20 years of age, with a close haircut, light complexion, and no facial hair, entered the business around 12:30pm displaying a dark colored handgun and demanded money.
The gunman was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with the letter “A”, dark jeans, white shoes, and possibly a red bandana. The robber may have gotten into a black, two door Honda or similar vehicle after leaving the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
