DUNN – Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a local motel. Around 2:00am today (Tuesday), Dunn Police responded to an armed robbery at Country Inn & Suites on E. Pearsall Street.
A clerk told police he returned from the restroom to find the suspect in the lobby area armed with a handgun.
The suspect held the clerk at gunpoint while he stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect ran west from the business.
The robber was described as a black male, 5 foot 10, wearing a ski mask, hoodie and jeans.
