The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a weekend robbery. It happened at Johnson’s Mobile Home Park on Highway 210 about three miles outside of Smithfield.
Around 4:20am Saturday, a 21 year-old Willow Spring woman who was staying at the residence stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. While outside, two black male suspects approached her. One placed a gun to her head and demanded she go inside.
The suspects ransacked the residence while demanding money and drugs. They fled with a duffle bag containing the victims clothes and cigarettes. They also took the woman’s cell phone.
The first suspect was described as a black male, 5 foot 9, with a slender build wearing a dark shirt and dark pants. The second suspect was a black male, 6 foot tall, wearing a long sleeve navy shirt and jeans. He was armed with a silver revolver.
No injuries were reported.
