Guns Stolen During Break-In

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential break-in where several guns were reported stolen.

It happened Nov. 22nd at a home on Stevens Sausage Road off Brogden Road east of Smithfield.  The victim said he left home at 9:15am that day. When he returned home at 2:15pm he discovered his residence had been forcibly entered. The suspect or suspects stole three shotguns and one pellet gun.

The break-in remains under investigation by detectives.
