The Smithfield Town Council has approved the appointment of Alice Harris to a position on the Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation’s (DSDC) Board of Directors.
Harris will fill out the remaining term of a vacant seat which expires in 2018.
The appointment was recommended by the DSDC Board and Executive Director Sarah Edwards.
