Harvey Evans of Smithfield received his 50 Year Veterans Award during a special presentation Thursday night at Fellowship Lodge # 84.
Evans is the Past Master (PM) of the Lodge. He has been one of the most loyal members during his career as a Mason. His attendance is 99 percent.
Evans has served as Master of Lodge # 84 and Secretary for three times for a total of 25 years.
He also served as District Deputy Grand Master (DDGM) for the 16th Masonic District.
During the award presentation, Harvey received a standing ovation for his many years of service to Masonry and to Lodge # 84 by the Brothers in attendance.
