The Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce has named Ms Heather Best as the February SUPER STAR Teacher of the Month. SUPER STAR teachers demonstrate excellence and leadership in their classroom, creativity and motivation of their students and show a high level of commitment to our community.
Ms Best serves as the Teacher Learning Coach at Westview Elementary. She assists all teachers with analyzing classroom data, models exemplary teaching methods, provides resources and motivates the staff and students both academically and culturally. She has been known to use delicious snacks and dressing up as a Disney Princess as motivation tools.
Best also serves as the school’s Mentor Coordinator; helps plan school activates and always has a big smile for everyone.
