A drug raid by Johnston County Sheriff narcotic agents led to the seizure of approximately a half pound of high grade marijuana from a home on Jan. 13th.
Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said an undercover investigation led officers to the home of Michael Clarence Britt, 25, in the 4500 block of Piney Grove Road, Angier. Agents were reportedly able to purchase marijuana from Britt at the address. Officers returned on Jan. 13th with a search warrant and seized the “high grade” marijuana and drug paraphernalia from the residence.
Britt was charged with felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,000.
