Hit And Run Accident Traps Driver In Overturned Car

MICRO – The State Highway Patrol is investigating a hit and run accident. The 11:49AM Friday collision was reported at the intersection of Highway 301 at Davis Homestead Road.

A vehicle reportedly ran into the back of a car, forcing it off the roadway where it overturned on its side. The driver was trapped inside and had to be freed by the Micro Fire Department. 

Johnston County EMS transported the female driver to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
