Did they actually get input on anyone from this county if they wanted this?
Why would they need your input on how they spend their own money? entitled much?
instigator much??
It’s called “market research.”
Actually, yes they did, they attended several county events and hosted several townhalls when they first proposed the development. They worked closely with Selma and Smithfield and took input from local residents ad leaders.
Actually no they didn’t, it was pushed on everyone, no rebutal, no say whatsoever in the zoning and future use of land in our community. All of it stinks.
Likely had to go through the Board of Commissioners first to get okay to build
Give me a example when getting permission from residents of a county before investing millions to developing commercial properties that was all ready zoned for the intended purposes? I think you are a late arrival to express any meaningful concerns wemisscows?
Love the new addition to the area. Can we get an Aldi’s?
That would be nice!
So happy someone is converting the ugly abandoned area into something a bit happier! Takes someone with vision to see the potential amid the ugly.
Hurry and build Hobby Lobby!
so glad we are getting Hobby Lobby wish it would be sooner. Aldi’s would also be nice and a whole foods for those of us with allergies.
Better Selma than Clayton
Wonder if anything w/ a pharmacy will move in eventually?
