The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion that reportedly happened last Thursday but was not reported until two days later.
The incident took place at a home on Watkins Drive, Angier, in western Johnston County.
A 33 year-old man said he was house sitting for a friend when a women burst into the home, removed property, then left.
The man was not harmed. Authorities have a possible suspect in the case, which investigators do not believe was a random act.
