The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning incident that left four townhomes and several vehicles riddled with bullet holes. The shooting happened around 2:15am Monday on Davelyn Court in the Village at Cleveland Springs near the intersection of Cleveland and Glen Roads.
At least four homes and three vehicles were hit by gunfire. Authorities said a large number of shots were fired. Deputies believe there were two suspects and the shots were fired from the street.
No one inside the townhomes were injured. Damage was estimated at approximately $10,000.
