Authorities have released the name of a 36 year-old man shot and killed at a home on Ridge Run near Lillington on Tuesday night.
The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting was reported around 8:30pm. Deputies arrived and found Gerold McEachin Jr. of Lillington dead at the scene.
The shooter has been identified as 33 year-old Christopher Chance who lived at the address on Ridge Run. Chance remained on the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement.
The incident is still under investigation. An autopsy on McEachin will be performed by the state medical examiner.
