Human Remains Discovered In Nash County

Human remains were found in a Nash County field late-today (Thursday).

Around 5:00PM, the Nash County Sheriff’s Office said they were acting on information pertaining to the location of a body and prepared a search warrant to search land in the 1400 block of Wiley Road in Spring Hope.

Upon executing the search warrant and at the start of a search of a field, human remains were located.

Officials said a forensic pathologist has been requested to respond to the scene to assist.

No additional information has been released.
