Hurricane Florence Pushes Camels vs. Chants Matchup To Buies Creek

Due to the threat of Hurricane Florence along the East Coast, Campbell’s football game at Coastal Carolina has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 12 in Buies Creek.

The matchup was originally slated for Saturday, September 15 in Conway, S.C., but will instead kick off Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Campbell’s Barker-Lane Stadium.

“Over the past 36 hours of discussion, playing the contest here at Campbell became the best option for all parties involved,” said Campbell Director of Athletics Bob Roller. “Our University staff and community are well-equipped to turn around a game of this significance on short notice, and we can stay well ahead of the pending weather.”

Admission and parking will be free of charge for all patrons. All parking and seats will be general admission.

A live video stream will be available for Wednesday afternoon’s game.
