The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on the whereabouts of a 39 year-old missing woman. On June 18th, relatives of Kiara Renee Wiggins of W. North Street in Roseboro contacted the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office to report her missing. She was last seen on June 9th.
During the course of the investigation, detectives discovered a black 2003 Ford Excursion with NC license KM-2969 had been stolen June 17th in Bladen County by her husband, Carl Earl Andre Wiggins. Investigators have obtained warrants for Mr. Wiggins for felony larceny and possession of a stolen vehicle. At last report, he has not been located and the Ford SUV has not been recovered.
Investigators would also like to speak to Carl Earl Andre Wiggins regarding Kiara Renee Wiggins whereabouts. Authorities said the missing person case is an active investigation and ask for any information from the public in locating Kiara, her husband, or the stolen vehicle.
“We are treating this as an endangered missing person and would remind everyone that Carl Earl Andre Wiggins is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. At this time, we will provide no further details as it relates to status of this investigation,” said Sampson County Sheriff’s Lt. Marcus Smith.
