HVAC Renovation Design Work Approved At Two Schools

JOHNSTON COUNTY – A $1,079,783 contract has been awarded to redesign the HVAC systems at Four Oaks Elementary and South Smithfield Elementary Schools.

The Johnston County school board approved the contract during their August 8 meeting.

Heating and air systems at both schools need complete replacement. CPL of Raleigh will perform design services for modern HVAC units the schools.

The contract only involves the design of the two new systems, not the cost of the new equipment or installation.
