Five people were sent to the hospital after two vehicles collided on Interstate 95 near Benson on Saturday. After the impact, one vehicle overturned in the travel lanes while the other overturned off the roadway.
A Good Samaritan who saw the accident stopped to help the injured until first responders arrived on the scene.
Emergency crews said the victims were blessed not to have been serious injuries based on the significant damages to the vehicles involved. Photos by John Payne
