“I Voted Early” Sticker Contest Showcases Local Youth Artwork

JOHNSTON COUNTY – This March, Johnston County residents may notice a little extra flare on stickers being handed out at polling locations. The “I Voted Early Stickers” will be getting a slight makeover in 2024 after the Johnston County Board of Elections issued a challenge to local 6-8 graders to design an entirely original sticker in October of last year.

The submissions are in and the top 10 finalists can now be viewed on the Board of Elections website.

Your vote matters! Johnston County residents are encouraged to participate by voting for your favorite sticker on or before Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Individuals will only be allowed to vote one time and an email address will be required to submit your vote.

The winner of the sticker competition will be announced on January 19, 2024 and will receive a $100 cash prize.

For more information on the sticker competition visit JohnstonNC.com/joconcelections. You’ll also be able to register to vote, find upcoming election information, or find your polling location.

  1. Democrat slogan vote early and often. Remember to visit the nursing home and coach all the demented patients to vote straight D.

    • Do not forget to remind “conservatives” to vote for a man who claims to be christian but cant give specific examples from the bible, cheated on multiple wives, and refuses to admit when he loses. Keep America Great LOL

      • You talkin ‘bout Joe having an affair with married Jill, or Hillary in 2016? The hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me.

        • No im taking about your savior Trump who has assaulted multiple women but is the BEST President in his words EVER for Christians and cant even name specific parts of the Bible.

          • Ummm, my savior? Not sure where you assume I support Trump. I was thinking maybe you were talkin’ about Bill Clinton as well.

  2. I didn’t see the “I’m in a cult, extremely delusional, and can only spout tired conversative news talking points” sticker.
