Seven people will be inducted to the Smithfield Selma High School Hall of Fame during their inaugural Alumni Banquet.
The event takes place this Friday, April 20th at 6:30pm at the Smithfield Selma High School Cafeteria at 700 E. Booker Dairy Road, Smithfield.
The seven outstanding individuals include: Tony Nixon, Dr. Rose Snipes Bynum, Mayor Andy Moore, School Board Chairman Mike Wooten, Resident Superior Court Judge Tom Lock, Darryl Lynn Lucas and Lyn Andrews.
Tickets for the event are available for $20 per person. They can be purchased at the school or by emailing Chris Lattimer.
Proceeds will benefit the student scholarship fund.
