SMITHFIELD – An inmate in the Johnston County Detention Center was arrested on felony assault charges following an incident inside the jail.
Brandon Clay Woodall, 26, of Four Oaks has been in custody since May 17 when he was arrested for several offenses including attempted breaking and entering a building, injury to property, and resisting a public officer.
On June 8 around 7:40pm, Woodall is accused of throwing a cup of hot coffee mixed with hot sauce in the face of a detention officer.
The officer sustained burns to his face and eyes.
Woodall was charged with felony assault causing physical injury to a detention employee. His bond was increased from $45,000 to $95,000.
We’re told the officer was treated for minor injuries.
Why would they give any prisoner hot sauce? This is an old trick.
No hot water for coffee in jail, just luke warm, and hot sauce is better than pepper spray in the eyes.
Prayers for the jailer to recover and this guy needs to go to some deserted island with land mines, live off the land alone till he dies. POS!
Send his wanna be bad AZZ where the big boys are at.he will think twice next time… prayers for officer involved
his face says it all
