JCSO Arrests Benson Man For December Theft

FOUR OAKS – A Benson man is behind bars after his arrest on felony charges. Roger Alvester Geddie Jr., age 22, of S. Walton Drive, was arrested January 15, 2023 by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives allege Geddie went to an address in the 2000 block of NC Highway 96 South of Four Oaks on December 15, 2022 and stole a utility trailer and Gravely lawnmower. The items were valued at $4,500.
Deputies charged Geddie with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen property. He was also served with two unrelated felony failure to appear warrants for felony larceny and possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $100,000 by a Johnston County magistrate.
