WTSB News has learned a collision between two vehicles Saturday afternoon was no accident. A Nissan and Ford collided around 3:45pm on Highway 96 North near the intersection of Highway 231.
State troopers and sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash scene only to discover it wasn’t an accident.
Johnston County Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said the driver of one vehicle intentionally struck the second vehicle. Two people in the other car were injured. Caldwell described the incident as domestic related, as the suspect and victims all knew one another.
