SELMA – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident at a Selma-area home, Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a report a driver had allegedly crashed their car into a camper and two parked cars at a home on Timber Court, off Sullivan Road. The impact caused one of the cars to catch fire and the flames start to spread.
The Wilson’s Mills Fire Department extinguished the fire, saving the home, which sustained minor damage from the flames.
The individual involved in the incident was transported to the hospital.
At last report, no charges had been filed.
