Drug agents have arrested a man they said sold them powder cocaine near a Johnston County church.
Agents did not disclose the name of the church, but said 34 year-old Vance Antonio Wynn of N. Sharpe Street, Selma had been the focus of a month-long undercover operation prior to his arrest on December 15th.
Johnston County Sheriff’s narcotics agents tell WTSB News agents purchased 3.5 grams of cocaine from Wynn on two separate occasions during their investigation. Each alleged transaction made by Wynn to undercover officers was near a house of worship.
Agents described Wynn as a mid-level cocaine dealer in the Smithfield-Selma area. He facing multiple counts of selling, delivery, and possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine charges. Bail was set at $550,000.
