BENSON – The Johnston County Sheriff Office is seeking assistance identifying the driver of the pickup truck in this surveillance camera photo.
On June 8, 2024, the vehicle was reportedly involved in the theft of a utility trailer near Benson.
The same pickup was later spotted in the driveway of a home in the Bentonville community, south of Four Oaks, where another trailer was also stolen.
Authorities said the vehicle appears to be a 2004-2008 model Ford F-150 Lariat. One feature that stands out is a low front windshield tint strip.
