PRINCETON – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance in a larceny investigation. On July 30 around 4:00am, several items were taken from a residence on Rains Crossroads Road near Princeton, in eastern Johnston County.
The items included ATV’s, dirt bikes and a portable welder.
A U-Haul truck was spotted near the location with unknown individuals loading items into the U-Haul truck. Two Dodge Chargers were also spotted nearby. They may have been involved as “look out vehicles”.
Three of the ATV’s were Yamaha Banshees, one Kawasaki Brute Force, one Honda CRF 450 dirt bike and a Yamaha 230 dirt bike (pictured).
If anyone has information that could assist with this investigation, contact the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Detective’s Division at 919-989-5020.
Sounds a little fishy
This doesn’t just sound like a random incident. Somebody knew exactly what and where these were located to be that prepared with a U-Haul. They knew what they were going after and exactly where it was.
Well there is a nice reward offered if either of you know who or even where they can be found… there was no insurance to cover any of the merchandise…
This is why JoCo can’t have nice things. Smh. Sick of it.
