HIGH POINT, NC – Hanley House, a rising junior at Cleveland High School, was crowned Miss North Carolina Teen on June 24 at High Point Theatre. Hanley represented the Miss Johnston County/Cleveland organization as Miss Cleveland’s Teen.
Her community service initiative is “Passion to Profit: Empowering Young Entrepreneurs.” She performed a lyrical dance to “Don’t Stop Believing” in the talent competition.
Hanley received a $7,500 scholarship and will represent North Carolina in the Miss America’s Teen 2024 competition. Hanley is the 16 year-old daughter of Bryan and Caren House of the Cleveland community.
Miss Johnston County’s Teen Colleen McDermott was first runner-up to her sister queen. Colleen received a $4,000 scholarship and performed an Irish Dance for the talent competition.
