There are no suspects in a break-in discovered Wednesday morning at a Smithfield area business.
Thieves cut a hole in a fence at East Coast Equipment at 2783 US Highway 70 Business East and removed two John Deere Gators. The Gators were valued at $11,000 and $16,500.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office believes the theft may have occurred sometime after 1:30am. Anyone who has any information about the break-in or the stolen John Deere Gators is asked to contact sheriff’s detectives at 919-989-5000. Callers can remain anonymous.
