Earn your degree or certificate entirely online
The outbreak of COVID-19 has abruptly changed every aspect of our lives. Individuals across our community are trying to find a new “normal,” but let’s be honest, how can we return to normal when everything has seemingly changed? For most, we can no longer send our children to school, visit loved ones, attend a place of worship, or even go to work. If we can’t go to work or no longer have work to go to, how can we afford to learn new skills? At Johnston Community College, we understand because we are all in this crisis together.
To help meet the changing needs of our community, we have shifted almost all of our classes to an entirely online format, allowing you to earn a certificate or degree from an accredited college from the comfort of home. Right now, you can enroll in most of our courses at minimal or no cost with scholarships and financial aid. Continuing education classes could be free if you are unemployed, underemployed, or have received a layoff notice.
Our online degrees include Associate of Arts college transfer, Associate of Science college transfer, Criminal Justice Technology, Fire Protection Technology, and our Business Administration programs, including Accounting and Finance, Medical Office Administration.
Want to learn a new skill or take a single class? We have more than 350 unique courses that allow you to start learning today through Ed2Go. We offer courses in arts and design, business, computer applications, computer science, construction and trades, health and fitness, hospitality, information technology, language, legal, math and science, test preparation, and writing.
If you are interested in pursuing a degree, earning a certificate, or learning something new, our team members at JCC will be happy to spend time listening to you and connecting you with the class or resource that best suits your needs.
