SMITHFIELD – The Johnston County Agricultural Center remains open despite the road closure near the facility at NC 210.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation will be replacing the bridge spanning Middle Creek, which requires a closure for a portion of NC 210 between Swift Creek Road and Galilee Road in Smithfield.
The Agricultural Center will still be accessible from NC 210 eastbound. Motorists will need to drive cautiously past the “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” barricade at the intersection of Galilee Road and NC 210 to reach the Agricultural Center entrance.
As a reminder, map applications on your smartphone may not be updated to provide the correct route to the Agricultural Center at this time.
