Johnston County Basketball Players Named To NCBCA All-District Team

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. – The N.C. Basketball Coaches Association has released its all-district teams for the 2025-2026 season.

All-district teams are voted on by coaches who are members of the NCBCA. Players from N.C. High School Athletic Association member schools are eligible for selection, regardless of class.

Two boys and two girls from Johnston County were selected to the all-district team this year for District 3.

Here are the selections:

Boys Basketball

• Khaleil Walters (Clayton) – 2nd Team, District 3
• Tjay Brunson (Cleveland) – 3rd Team, District 3

Girls Basketball

• Angelia Dunn (Cleveland) – 2nd Team, District 3
• Darla Lee (Corinth Holders) – 3rd Team, District 3
