A Johnston County church will be collecting supplies for victims of flooding from Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
A group from Clyde’s Chapel Church will be taking two trailers filled with supplies to a small rural church in Southeast Texas next Wednesday, September 6th.
The church will be collecting supplies this Sunday, Sept. 3rd from 2pm until 6pmand Monday, Sept. 4th from 10am until 2pm.
Items needed include: bleach, cleaning supplies, trash bags, bottled water, canned food, can openers, feminine products, hygiene products, blankets, hand tools, tar paper, batteries, rubber work boots, work gloves, nails and masks.
Clyde’s Chapel Church is located at 16657 Buffalo Road, Wendell near the Wake County line.
