GARNER – A western Johnston County convenience store was robbed early Friday morning. It happened around 4:06am at Speedway, located at 5170 Veterans Parkway (formerly NC 42 West) near Interstate 40.
Authorities said an unknown black male entered the business and demanded money. The man fled in a black passenger car last seen traveling towards I-40. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
No injuries were reported.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the robbery.
The crime spree and killing is getting out of control. Our police dept are struggling as it is. Hope they get him prosecute to the fullest
